Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend

Always felt this wine a bit boring, even in a **** vintage. A recent Capbern had more depth and cigar spice.

A stunning wine with exquisite balance of cassis, blackberry and black cherry fruit and a panoply of savory notes including violet, leather, cigar box and cedar. A beautiful wine entering a period of gradually maturing drinkability

10 GPL killing it with lamb chops. Instructive balance with a restraining force and fruit for days. Wow.

Incredible depth. Plum and black currants, touches of cedar. Showing well with 10 years under its belt. I see it continuing to age well over the next ten.

Needs a healthy decant and non hotel glass. Still tight, could go a few more years. But after some swirls and last glass, really elegant and fine tannins. Almost ripe blackberry and currant. Integrated oaky spice and long finish.

Needs 10 years. Stuffing is there.
