Drank the 09half bottle at the old Ebbitt bar with a house made walnut and cream ravioli . The dryness and mineral potency of the medoc alongside the pre pope visit crowd, under boars heads and dead turtle carcasses in lamppost light at 11 pm is like feeling the serpent coil up your leg whispering the unknown secret while your mouth chews the red fruit of old lands greedily without a care except that you should post your thoughts on delectable.

Wow. This is so barnyard and earth on the nose, it's almost as if the grapes were fermented on the men's locker room floor. The palette is full bodied, black fruity, smokey, and tastes like it just came from the barrel...... And this is the '09. This is a wonderful Bordeaux, and will remind you why this region knows it $hit when it comes to red. So happy right now.
