The 2012 Haut-Bergey is plump, juicy and forward. Sweet red cherries, plums, smoke, tobacco, licorice and herbs are all pushed forward in a supple Pessac Léognan to drink over the next few years. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous)

Better than my last bottle but not good. PnP. Cherry color. Stewed fruit and green elements on the nose. Nice texture with grippy tannins. Medium finish with burned green peppers, olives, and a damp cigar on the palate. Cork was fine, so just an inferior wine.

Surprisingly nice Pessac with black and red currant, some thyme, a floral note, gravel and menthol. Not thick or bold but fresh and uplifting with a decently long finish.

This wine is all over the map. Initial asparagus nose that then transitions to more of a subtle cinnamon/allspice scent. Inviting, and yet feel a good accompaniment would bring out the flavor as it is not all that exciting on its own.

Very nice! Lighter than i expected on the pallet but very earthy and metallic notes with good red fruit of cherry and raspberry. Silky mouthfeel with good gripping tannins.

Exemplary of an old French cab with some iron, purple flowers, boysenberry, and a bit of jalapeño.
