Cru Bourgeois Red Bordeaux Blend

Lots going on here. Nose has underbrush, moist leaves, roasted peanuts, dark cassis. Linear and intense in the mouth. Still quite a bit of tannin. Dry cassis extract, leather, minerals. Very full-bodied. Pretty long finish. Old school Medoc flavors in a bigger " welcome-to-global-warming frame."

NIGHT TWO: Lots more pure cassis and focused blackberry shining through.

Red licorice, dark fruit and pencil shavings.

Dominated by red and purple fruit. Lacking on the floral, earthiness expected of Bordeaux. 2009

Got a "deal" on WTSO. Should have done more research.

Light and refreshing. Raspberry on the forefront ending with a hint of pepper. Overall clean and smooth. Give it time to breathe.
