Not as thick feeling as other Sauternes I've had so I like it better. Characteristic honey flavors, the ending is a bit weird and minerally / barrelly... Flavors of hard water?

Tasted in Nov 2014 in parallel with a 1995 Yquem. Good flavors and surprisingly interesting. At that price it is worth it. Pairs well with Roquefort even though it isn't the sweetest Sauternes
