Beautiful Bordeaux. It was opened for about 30 hours and yet it was still fresh as can be. This puppy is still young and easily has another decade plus to still develop and hit his stride.

1 hour decant and wouldn’t go any longer. Dark cherry color. Nose is classic Bordeaux with earth, smoke, and huge flowers. Unique wine in that I get a lot of apples on the palate, but also tar and cedar. Long finish. I really enjoyed this!

I let this one decant for a solid 2 hours before serving. This 19 year old Margaux exudes forest floor, sandalwood, leather on a luxurious aroma - still bright acidity, shy fruit and well-integrated tannins. It still could have laid down longer but pretty good #margaux.
