Please excuse the crap photography. I opened this bottle last night to commemorate my first trip to Bordeaux en premieurs with the top notch retailer with whom I used to work, @jjbuckley ... one of our first tastes of the 2007 vintage was La Conseillante which I found to be among the best wines of the entire vintage... showing beautifully today. Loads of fruit left, very Pomerol in character with smooth tannins, no hard edges. Beginning to finally show some secondary aromas. Beautiful with beef stew..... Enjoy bordeaux!!!!

Stunning core of dark plum and cherries and a perfumed note on nose. Super silky tannins. Did not get any green notes and a long finish with notes of coffee and dark fruit.
