Lalande de Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend

Plenty of dark berries, cassis, cranberries, balsamic notes. Medium bodied, silky tannins and well handled oak. Good stuff.

No big surprise here, but no disappointment either. Drinks perfectly now.

Well balanced. Plum. Pomegranate. Dark cherry. Mildly jammy

Really, really nice bottle of wine. 2011 vintage had a vanilla pastry cream thing going on. A great way to get excited about an upcoming Bordeaux trip.

Both very enjoyable and surprisingly appealing. Well made wines with 10 the better, but the 11 being especially good for the vintage.
