Held up way better than expected for a sub-$15 bottle of Bordeaux I picked up during a rare sale of DC’d items at Wholefoods years ago. Plums, oak spices and underbrush. Merlot majority blend paired well with tri tip w/romanesco sauce. A little hotter on the finish than I like my BDX to be, but overall very satisfying. Much better than other Bordeaux’s I’ve had in this price range.
