Château La Mascaronne
Côtes de Provence Rosé Blend
This wine requires little thought in that it’s so close to perfect you only need to sit back, close your eyes, and enjoy it. You could charge me $100 for this bottle and I’d pay it. Luckily you don’t.

Sep 6th, 2023Shimmering salmon skin. Mineral- and spice-accented red berry and pit fruit scents are complemented by a suave floral topnote. Silky and focused on the palate, offering lively strawberry, blood orange and nectarine flavors that open up slowly with air. Shows fine definition and strong persistence on the penetrating finish, which leaves repeating pit fruit and mineral notes behind. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, June 2021)

The ratings on this are all over the shop. IMO, a solid rose. Especially for December (yes, winter time rose drinking). Floral nose. Dry. Subtle hints of strawberries and watermelon.
