Outstanding showing for a 2nd wine in a classic vintage. Red fruit and red flowers, cedar and cigar notes led a pure and concentrated beam of blueberry and multiple red fruit notes with some vanilla and black currant. Feminine, elegant. Fine tannins disappeared on long finish.

Nice La Mission 2nd where the tannins are structured but soft and complementary to the blend. More dark fruit than red. The fruit is starting its downward spiral - but it just started!!

On its way out, but it’s pure Bordeaux! Completely drinkable and notes if leather, tobacco and olive on the end pallet. Was perfect 5 years ago!!
