Traditional medoc nose, structure, weight. 09 and 10 were austere, 11 seems more expressive on the nose with promising black fruit, but with unforgiving tannins.

Jun 17th, 2014Nov 21, 2020. Worst expression of a left bank Bordeaux that I have ever tasted, and I’ve had a few. This is undrinkable. Will try it in a mulled wine, hope it doesn’t ruin that.

Nov 22nd, 2020Balanced and smooth, but a little thin and lacking complexity. Oak on the nose, not many flavors beyond 2D black currant and berry on the palette, and soft and subtle tannins that fill the mouth for a long finish. Easy drinking with food but not really exciting on its own. 75% cab, 20% merlot, 5% petit verdot. 12.5% ABV.
