Smooth, fruit forward

NOSE: cassis, chocolate, a little musty earth. Hm! Raspberry after more air.

TASTE: great acidity, very dense, earthy and fruity at the same time … cassis and black raspberry…fresh cut herbs. 92.

2016 on Valentine’s Day 2023

Full bodied. Medium dry. Balanced tannins. Lots of blackberries. Exceeded my expectations, and I will be buying more.

Lovely Bordeaux. Smooth but earthy. Red fruits and berries.

Solid Bourdeaux. 2016. $23.99. 60% cab. 40% merlot. Easy to drink. Smooth. Need to decant a few hours. Would buy again at this cost or less. More fruity than earthy. But not jammy.
