The 2004 Les Forts de Latour is a blend of 74% Cabernet Sauvignon and 26% Merlot and displays a dark Ruby color with purple inky edges. The 2004 had concentrated welcoming fruit aromas with hints of herbs. The palate was very smooth and drinkable, fruit was still intense with sweet ripe berry fruits and currants, firm structure and balance with silky tannins and finishing long with some minerality and gentle cedar notes. Outstanding!

Drinking in the Emirates lounge so no idea how long it has been open
Was excited to try it but found it tight and closed . Overall disappointed but sure it has time to improve

Très puissant avec des tanins déjà bien fondus . Un bel arôme boisé . À boire maintenant.

Good bottle that will be good for years. Gave it plenty of time to open still a little young.

This wine was corked, but I didn't have the heart to give it a lower rating. One of the first "expensive" wines purchased.
