Decent enough. Needs food to bring out what little fruit it has left. Does scream "Graves" with its "rockiness;" the mushroom earthiness, and that terroir, are the best part.

From Chambers ? on 6 April 2024. Beautiful color. Bomb of cherry on nose. Front end delicious Bordeaux. Back half copper wire. Acid, but no tannins left. Touch of salinity at front of tongue. Decanted but started drinking right away.

Better than what many have said about the 1999, but it was drunk in 2016! Full bodied, dark cherry, slight chocolate, moderate legs and tannins. After the first mouth full of medium rare rib eye, about 2" thick, it improved. Too bad it is not available. If found, decant first!!!!!
