Funky barnyard nose which masked a good underlying wine with nice fruit and resolved tannins. After 30 minutes of decanting it was a new wine with the funk having dissipated.

Medium deep garnet ruby quite , narrow rim . Quite deep and complex , dark and red fruits , blackberry, grafite , earthy notes , touch of dried spice , soy sauce . On the palate nice balance and fresh acidity , mix of red and dark fruits, red plum , blackberry , cassis , tobacco , scorched earth . Integrated and rounded tannins , ok length. Good now and over the next 8-10 years
