2021 vintage. This was my favourite at the Boissenot lab primeur tasting (77 wines, but no Crus Classés), and now that it is on the market, it gives you an idea what to expect from a good wine in this difficult vintage. Attractive nose, very fresh, with cassis and flowers. In the mouth it doesn't have the weight of the great vintages, but it is an impeccably balanced, lighter wine, juicy and fresh, with more than decent length. Very modestly priced too, very good value and ready to drink immediately. A blend of 53% cabernet sauvignon, 40% merlot, 6% Petit Verdot, and 1% Cabernet Franc. Abv. 13%.
