Posses the warm and immediate fruit typical of 2009, built on the more structured frame of 2010. Opens with ripe plum and blackberry fruit, with an omnipresence of saddle leather, and no shortage of chewy tannins. Generous and brawny. After 2+ hours in the decanter, as most of the leather subsides, mocha and kirsch notes develop on the finish.

Christmas Eve with a beautiful Bordeaux Blend! (70% Cabernet Sauvignon with a bit of (30%) of Merlot). Wonderful pairing with Prime Rib! This one needed to sleep for a decade but it is now ready to drink. Restrained blackberry fruit aromas and flavors with hints of black tea, tobacco, cedar and earth. Silky tannins and wonderful balance. Beautiful smoke note on the finish. Thank you for bringing this one, Kase.

Ripe, dark red fruits and jam. Better the second day after it was opened. It likes air!

Herbal, peppery nose, still very alive! Other guests found it too "present" which I could understand but which was not the case for me.

Difficult start but got me completely in at the end. Clearly in a very good spot now, just give her enough air...

Good wine, nice drinking but couldn't keep my attention 'till the last drop. Too young?

Surprisingly Silky tannins, juicy dark fruits, lots of baking spices. It's more feminine side in character
