Still tight and sinewy, loaded with gravelly minerality, a fair dose of oak, and chewy black plum skin, black raspberry compote, tobacco leaf and freshly cut cedar. Easily capable of another decade in the bottle. Probably more restrained than a lot of people would like to see, but this is totally my style.

Still lovely, but lacks some structure and dies rather quickly where I would have expected it to last. Smells of wet earthy tones.

30+ minute decant but needed much much more.

Medium purple color. Nose of menthol and and cherry. French Bordeaux isn’t blatantly obvious.

Wine is fruit forward with minimal terroir. Wine is very soft with a medium finish.

Not my favorite from this vintage and probably better wines at this price point.

Far too tight upon opening, but after 2 hours in a decanter, it opened up well and became a beautifully structured classic. Could age another 10 years for sure, or open it well in advance of your meal, and enjoy it!
