A small 3 hectares estate ( in the Cocks & Feret 1922 edition it is cited as Clos Mauvezin) that was listed as Grand Cru Classé from the first 1955 classification until 1986. In 2014 it was sold to the owners of La Gaffelière. Simple,easy-drinking, fully mature Saint-Emilion that sells for a song. But still not as good as the even cheaper Allées de Cantemerle 2019 tasted alongside. Abv. 14%
