2018 vintage. 81% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Petit Verdot. Biodyamically farmed. They did a wonderful job here to preserve the freshness in such a hot year. The nose is very fresh, with crushed strawberries, raspberries, and flowers. They must have wisely gone for soft extractions, because this is all about freshness and elegance. No signs of alcohol heat or jammy flavours. It has a lovely energy. Showing very well at this stage, and very reasonably priced for Pomerol. Abv. 14%.
