Deep, deep fruit. Gnarly underbrush and dried herbs but really resolved plum and bloody dark fruit. A bit of iodine and minerality. The finish Is great. A little short and windy. For the age kinda astonishingly fresh

Really drinking well, one of the first wines I ever really had was this-the 1978. You'd never know it had this kind of age in it. Blackberry, cassis and resolved oak made for a great pairing with the rib eye at Totoraku
