Chateau Montelena

Chateau Montelena

Napa Valley Chardonnay 2021

Medium lemon color with aromas of ripe stone and citrus fruits and floral notes, no MLF. On the palate flavors of pear, apple and melon with notes of lemon citrus, honeysuckle and vanilla oak. Well balanced with acidity, long finish ending with fruit, toasty oak and mineral notes, consistent! A Fav!! — 5 days ago

North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon 1976

One can not help but to get excited when you see an iconic producer and an almost 50 year old bottle. The nose is Bordeaux like with elements of old wooden furniture, , leather, and an autumn day in the woods. On the palate those elements meet up with plums and dark berries . A wine held together by structure. Would have loved to have tried 10-15 years ago. — 6 months ago
