Found this hiding in my dads cellar. It's probably in the latter stages of its drinkable window, which might be why the fruit is muted. Regardless, I'm not one to turn away a bottle of Montelena. There are better Zinfandels out there at this price point (upper $30s), though maybe without the name recognition.
