A very cloudy cinnabar in the glass, this wine smells of leather and camphor and crushed herbs. In the mouth, gorgeous redcurrant, cedar, tangy and herbal juiciness. Definitely some VA, but that's par for the course.

Superb and otherworldly, notes more like white port than white (or orange) wine, even with faint notes of cork taint

Soft, ripe, more red fruit than dark fruit, sour cherry, quite Italian in feel, lo wish tannins, loads of balanced acidity, of course the volatility but an accompanied floral character. I like it, 5 years ago, I may have liked it better but oddly there is not that much older mushroom Forrest floor character. A lovely wine.
