Light garnet color bordering on delicate with fine sediment. Musty almond paste on closed nose. Tart apricot, cherry pie. Clover, allspice finish. Lingering menthol appears with time. So many more notes rise and fall with food. Soft, luscious, curious and lovely.

Bright smoky red fruits. Evoking many southern Rhône qualities. Remarkably lean and light.

My first #musar and what a #vintage to start with. Wow! The wine was hazy and red/orange showing advanced age and med concentration. The nose and palate were very lively with sweet delicate fruit and immense complexity only achieved by starting with a high quality wine and aging it perfectly. #lebanon

So beautiful, dark earthy notes, cigar box, smoke, turn forest floor, dark mature plums, Christmas spices. Open beautifully after 23 years.

Lovely wine and so complex... Hard to describe! Dusty road and crushed rose petals... There was such a lovely floral component to this wine, even at 22 years old! A real treat to try! #yulwinethrowdown

Love the story and this producer. A Bordeaux-style wine made from indigenous Lebanese varietals. The winemaker, Serge Hochar trained in France and kept only the things he liked about the experience when he started making his own wines. Very age-able and still tasting great! The only problem is that there's a little funk that's not for everyone.
