Pessac-Léognan Red Bordeaux Blend

Dark, inky showing lots of spice with red, black fruits & tobacco

A fine albeit lighter Bordeaux from this vintner. Good tannic structure that is still young. Fresh oak and fully integrated fruit. Enjoy!

Fully integrated flavors of dark fruit complement the rich sous bois bouquet. My sense is that this wine is over its prime so drink soon.

Stood up well against the Palmer. Acquired in 2005 by TC for $88.70.

🍷 Opaque ruby w/ fine brick edge

👃 Broken pencils & crushed rock in soggy earth through squished blackcurrant w/ charred smokey oak, pulverised plums, leather, liquorice & minted black tea

👄 Med+ body of really dirty earthy blackcurrant w/ a mocha liquorice hit & dark plummy mineral kick

🎯 Med+ earthy dark fruit muddy face wallop with a liquorice whip
