Chateau Paveil de Luze. 2010 Margaux. Deep dark ruby coloration. On the nose, musty forest floor, earth and truffles. On the palate, red fruit, silky smooth, oak, vanilla, spice, forest floor and caramel notes that carry on for a very long finish. Excellent.

Nov 12th, 2022Dark ruby coloration. Some Amber. On the nose, smokiness, truffle, crème brûlée, plum. On the palate, plum, truffle, smokiness, vanilla and a long, decadent crème brûlée finish. Full bodied and tannins have diminished some but still present. 2010- great vintage.

Very smooth, went perectly with a nice steak & cheese. But could work just as easily with a light meal. Easy to drink with a deep body flavour and a hint of oak
