Tannins overtake the fruit. Did well with cheese course.

Lush red fruit and silky tannins. Just starting to evolve with a lively freshness and welcoming earthiness.

Great paring with Fred’s steak. Cork was busted but wine 100% intact.

One word describes this: okay. Dark red color. Decanted for 30+ minutes but I would try much much longer. Nose has tar and cherries in it. Wine is very reserved with a little medicine flavor on top of the cherries. Medium finish. Maybe my expectations were too high, but no depth to this guy. Better wines at this price point.

Tastes more like Napa than Bordeaux. Very ripe, very good.

In a perfect spot......liquid velvet with bright fruit and resolved tannins. 15 yrs is it’s magic number

Overly hot and dry summer of 2003 shows through. A tad one dimensional and too rich.

Great grip and month feel. Long finish and not as ripe as expected given the vintage.
