Saint-Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend

Lovely wine, rich complex and better than the bottle I have before, full of black currents, soil, coffee and chocolate, medium to full body, good tannins, nice acidity and a pleasant long finish. My score 88, drink to 2024

👃 Dark morello cherry, damson, spiced blackcurrant & blackberry through light smoked oak w/ violet, earth, mineral & cocoa tones

👄 Med creamy silky body of plump blackcurrant & dark plum in chocolate w/ a hint of liquorice

🎯 Long dark fruit & mocha linger

Wonderful Left Bank selection. Traditional Bordeaux aromas of dark fruit, graphite, iron, dried rose petal and menthol. Muted black fruit on the pallet with notes of tobacco and cedar. Beautiful balance of body (lighter than expected) and acid. Classic Bordeaux!

Garnet red in color and a nose of violets, cocoa, and currants. Med firm tannins yet there is a softness that age brings. Notes of blackberry, coffee mid-palate. Finishes with unsweetened chocolate and graphite. Enjoyed while listening to Diana Krall. Happy Friday, ya’ll
