Just a wee babe still, showed some complexity and good persistence but right now it is all about the fruit and creamy oak. Smelled and tasted Napa, with the weight and density of Aquitaine.

Cedar, dark fruits, asian spices, licorice and menthol notes. Medium body, elegant, fresh and balanced, this is top notch stuff and highly recommended. Drink or hold.

The second wine of Pichon LaLande and it was showing quite well. Classic Bordeaux nose with Cabernet filling the glass. Very good vintage and this wine is quite young . It matched up with the many dishes at the table. Years of life left.👀🍷🍷
