Surprisingly good for a second wine in an tricky vintage. Gorgeous nose has cedar, roasted peanuts, cassis, purple florals, warm gravel. Nose whack of flavor up front, then lightens up as the palate progresses. A bit of gritty tannin in the finish. Would I prefer a bit more concentration and length? Sure. But this is quite nice.

Very savoury and approachable wine, highly drinkable. Lots of cedar and leather and spice in there, and the palate opens up broad but with nice cheewy tannins. Pas mal!
