Côtes de Castillon Red Bordeaux Blend

Leather and dried earth. Drink up. Not improving. Definitely an under appreciated appellation

Brooding and rich with muddled dark fruits, leather, and Christmas spice. So much better with air, as the funk hung around for 1-2 hrs

Dark purple, pink rim. Clear, no gas nose is old red, blackberries, red fruit stewed, vanilla, rotting hay, barnyard on the nose. Palette sees raspberries, blackberries, and age.

all 4 of my garagiste bottles are corked to a certain degree. Has sort of a nail polish tasting flaw

As good a Grand Vin De Bordeaux as I've had...a steal from Garigiste

A balanced, generous and ready to drink Bordeaux. A garagiste $16 bottle of magic.

Good third showing from this Garagiste wine. Scratchy tannins but otherwise solid.

Showed much better than the previous bottle. Shortish but some complexity.

Fizzy funky Bret laced Bordeaux .... Second bottle that I am torn between dumping or letting it settle down overnight at first. No gas but fizzy nose

Corked ? Or wild yeast ? Like a funky Beaujolais or untamed Rhone
