Nice side by side here. The ‘14 has a dash of Malbec, otherwise the makeup is the same. ‘14 is clearly less ripe and fruit forward. The wine has more acidic nerve and a slightly more restrained structure. Will be interesting to see how each involves. Both offered immense pop and pour pleasure.

Drinking very well, nicely balanced with dark fruit, spice and soil on a robust frame. Oak char on the finish. Tasty stuff.
