Well it is Friday and I am wanting a Loire Cabernet Franc and I am having an Anjou Rouge.
The nose is nice with notes of red plum, red raspberry, roasted red pepper and wet gravel.
On first taste there are notes of sour cherry that fills the palate, a bit of raspberry, sweet green bell pepper, green herbs and a nice minerality.
There is a medium mouth feel with medium + acidity and medium sandy tannins that dries out the mouth which leaves a pleasing lasting finish.
