Great nose and very rich spice and berry flavored when first poured. Aged quickly and turned bitter in the glass. At first, hid alcohol well but soon was very apparent. My recommendation would be to pour small amounts, cork the bottle and continue to pour small amounts and drink quickly.

Smooth mouth feel. Finishes with a light berry note.

Deep purple color. Subtle nose of dark fruits and cherry. Mild on the palate with very little tannin. Almost sweet but a nice finish. Very drinkable and easy going down. Nice choice if you're not in the mood for a big cab.

Cherry and spice on yen nose. Low in tannins. Smooth finish. Not too bad.

Lovely dark garnet color. Earthy plum and bing cherry nose. Bright, clean and pleasant in the mouth. Medium rare filet mignon and I'm a happy camper! Used in Intro to Food and Wine class as a varietally correct version of Merlot.

I am so surprised that I liked this merlot. Pretty simple but easy to drink after a long work day. Nice round taste with some cherry and a hint of spice.

Designed to be approachable. Lacks complexity, but definitely ok for the price. A bit too sweet for me. Lots of baking spice quality to it.
