A modern style Bordeaux from Margaux, one of my favorite AOC in the region. A crime to drink this modern blend of Cabernet Sauvignon 55%, Merlot 40%, Petit Verdot 5%, so young. Well crafted modern in style, deep red color almost black, full of black current, plums, blur berries, Caesar wood, dust, soil, coffee and plums, medium to full body, with well integrated tannins and lovely supportive acidity. 2012 vintage. Violet and blackberry nose. Dry, medium bodied, with plum, black raspberry, oak, green peppercorn. Got the timing right on this one. 13% ABV.
