We opened this magnum on Saturday night (6 nights ago) and it was extremely hollow, with really dry & harsh tannins. Stuck baby in the corner and revisiting. Now fruit is brighter and tannins are gentler, but still no mid-palate. Meh.

Killer Gamay from Burgundy, rustic rubber on the nose with soft nuances of strawberry jolly rancher. Acid is really there, nothing over the top though, super juiced up. Great with spring lamb, definitely my kind of wine.
