Deep garnet red with bricking on the edges. Definitely has a few aged characteristics such as damp forest floor, tobacco leaves, and some herbaceous notes. Spices too with some dark cocoa. Well integrated medium tannins (5.5/10) and medium bodied. Starts off with some earthy characteristics as well as some dried red cherries. Medium to medium plus finish. Drink till 2021.

99 vintage Opened on last year of suggested drinking window . But may possibly have been too early . Good bouquet , still red plum colour , tasting lean especially versus the bouquet Pleasant and enjoyable but was expecting more
