Pop and pour. 1 hr slow ox. On the nose: macerated red fruit, soft musky perfume, a touch of vegetal...perfumed cab franc. On the palate: lovely acidity and density, more red fruit, a touch of very soft charcoal, ash and macerated cherry on the slightly chalky and bitter finish. Lovely right now, but clearly potential to improve with age.
