This is a good Stag’s Leap Cabernet, 75% cab 25% merlot. It is a quality wine but it seems to be a little closed off. Even after an hour in the decanter. The oak comes thru predominantly on the nose. Black fruit and licorice on the palate. Not worth the price in my honest opinion. You can drink wines that are half the price and taste way better and are a better example of Cabernet Sauvignon. If you have this in your cellar, keep it until 2026.
