This shows funky/bretty aromas and some barnyard as well, but some solid red fruit flavors as well, I still have a few bottles left, so time to drink up, nowhere near the quality level of that excellent 2011 Pignard Morgon I posted earlier!!

Apr 13th, 2026Some animal/barnyard/bretty aromas and flavors, lovely redfruits as well, even at age 10, this lovely Gamay (wine is labeled “Vin de France”, so maybe grapes are outside the Beaujolais AOC (??)), is still singing, nice acid balance, medium-long finish, very good Gamay!!

Oct 27th, 2025Another “find” from my cellar, Ducroux is really an amazing producer of fresh and complex Gamay, very redfruit, crisp, pure, and super refreshing, long finish, very fine natural Beaujolais!!!
