Alfred Hrdlicka label - borderline almost X-rated. Wine excellent. I really do like his whites. At Vino Carta in San Diego. White pepper, lemon and Gooseberries - Great stuff / One of the benchmark wines folks should try. Was introduced at Bells in Los Alamos to this winery. Needs about. 1 hour to open up.

Apr 20th, 2024Scheurebe Pinot Blanc Blend. Young needs a little bit more age. A great wine to pair with all kinds of food sans steak. Green apple, tart, almond blossoms. Super nice. At Bell‘s in Los Alamos the new and only Michelin ⭐️ place in Santa Barbara County. Very well worth visiting!!!

Gonna have to hold off. The youthful yeastiness here manifests as sour Hefeweizen or a particularly funky cider. I’ll put the next bottle away for retirement.
