Love in a bottle, silky smooth. Sultry, fine grain tannins, hint of smoke beautiful bold black fruits, layered with cocoa, showing barely any age.

This was a big boy. Sweat nose and full body, yet elegant. Tannin structure still there and pleasant on the palate. Black fruits with a pepper kick. Lingering finish makes you want more.

Jan 30th, 2024I have to say that I was a bit disappointed by this wine. I had been looking forward to trying it as it is the flagship wine of Clarendon Hills. I thought the other single vineyard strays that I had from them are just as good at about 1/4 the price. Rating is based on price/quality ratio.
