Oct 18th, 2018Very fragrant - spices and notes of violets. From a warmer year in the Canberra district. Always has been Northern Rhone in style. The palate is medium bodied with fine grained ultra savoury Tannins. Australia’s best exponent of the Shiraz/Viognier Blend. Could cellar for another 5 + years if you wish but very good right now.

Definitely needed minimum 2 hour decant. Viogner still subtly present on the nose with floral fragrances. Incredibly dry finish with decent linger.

A pleasant and light red. Nice fruity notes from the Viognier, but still a nice edginess coming from the Shiraz.
