Have liked many previous vintages of this including the 2004 which proved it could be cellared 10+ years. This was restrained to the point of lacking fruit definition. Reasonable meaty peppery spicy nose. Have had better examples.

Fun Vino, better second day, primary juby fruit developed, would love to see this with a few more months in old oak to develop it pre-bottling. Some serious effort has gone into texture. Great balance, lacking the mid-palate & finish it needs to take it to the next level #FilthyGoodVino c$35 @BocaccioVino

On the nose, cherries, spices and a bit of meatiness. Medium bodied and on the first day, prevalent acidity. On the second day, much more rounded with a nice savoury aftertaste.
