This is really great juice. On the nose, imagine a new tyre or the smell of new tennis balls when you pop the pressurised can overlaid with spice and fragrant herbs. Palate is smooth with a long finish, perfect balance of fruit, liquorice, cloves and violet candy. Shiraz from the cooler Canberra region seems to have allowed some great complexity to develop and even bring a French edge to the wine. I recommend this one.

With a 2 hour decanter this wine is already enjoyable. Meaty and toasty notes on nose and palate. Rich and tight mouthfeel with great acid and chalky tannins. A keeper for sure.

Dark crimson colour with purple hues. Similar to Hilltop Shiraz but more complex and well distinguished spicy aromas. Lifted with pepper, cloves and anise. Dark cherries, plums and blackberries. Some earthy notes. Soft and well integrated tannins. Long finish. Outstanding!
