St. Émilion Grand Cru Red Bordeaux Blend

Dark and brooding though maintains a good degree of elegance. Grippy on finish. Can't miss this one.

One of my go to St. Emillion. Lots of leather, tobacco, smokey oak(?), dried dark fruits and some tannins.

I'm not sure what to make of this. It should have aired longer because it got more interesting after about 45 minutes. It was all over the block as it opened up but nothing spectacular. I was expecting more. maybe if I let it go for another couple of years it would have been much better.
