Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhône Blend

Needs a lot more time in a bottle. Took a couple of hours to open up. But yummy!

Beautiful ruby color. Jammy hints of blueberry cobbler on the nose. Great flavors of blueberry, baking spices, fruit cobbler and mocha. Very nicely integrated with sleek tannins and mouthwatering acidity. I wish I could drink this every night!

Koncentrerad och matig CdP. Ganska stor (40%) andel Mourvèdre i denna blend. Mörka bär, grafit, saltlakrits, garrigue. Något volatil. Bredaxlad men smidigt och i riktigt bra balans. Värd 899 kr = på sikt kanske.

Heat damaged and so no rating. Nice to know what a wine made of raisens would taste like! Wife not so happy!
