Oxblood on the eyes, and tastes like the beginnings of mulled cranberry juice, tart with a good dose of cinnamon, being whipped up by a dusty wind and grounded with grippy tannins. It's on the simple side, but a great deal around ~$22.

Medium bodied Gamay with some depth. Starts with a bit of funk on the nose; leather and earthy notes. Palate features cherry and ripe strawberries. Solid dinner wine. Paired with roasted chicken and shallot in a balsamic-reduction.
